Courses for ASPP and RSPP: initial training and updates
Who are the ASPPs and RSPPs - their tasks
In all companies, the employer must mandatorily designate (art. 17 of Legislative Decree 81/2008) the Head of the Prevention and Protection Service ( RSPP ), or a person (internal or external to the company) expert in safety, in possession of professional skills and requirements.
The Prevention and Protection Service Employees ( ASPP ) collaborate with the RSPP and must be in sufficient numbers (they are not necessary for small companies), possess the necessary skills and have adequate means and time.
This figure coordinates the risk prevention and protection service, gives advice to the employer in compliance with current legislation and on the basis of specific knowledge of the company: studies the problems, identifies and evaluates the risks, collaborates in the of the DVR, proposes the preventive and protective measures that the employer then implements; proposes information and training programs for workers; participates in consultations and the periodic safety meeting; provides workers with information on work risks, the measures adopted, the procedures and the organization of safety (art. 33 of Legislative Decree 81/2008).
ASPP and RSPP requirements
They must possess the professional requirements indicated by the art. 32 of Legislative Decree 81/2008: qualification no lower than a secondary school diploma and certificates of participation in specific training courses and five-year refresher courses, as provided for by the State-Regions Conference Agreement of 07.07.2016.

Courses for CSE and CSP: initial training and updates
The CSE/CSP ( Safety Coordinator in the execution and design phase ) courses aims to train the learner in order to carry out work safety coordinator activities on temporary or mobile construction sites.
The CSE/CSP represents the figure appointed, by the client or by the project manager, to guarantee coordination between the various companies involved in the works, in order to reduce risks at work, plan, organise, manage and verify safety-related activities in the workplace, in the design phase and in the execution phase.
The course provides the basic theoretical-legal knowledge for the role of safety coordinator on temporary or mobile construction sites, pursuant to Legislative Decree 81/2008 and integrated by Legislative Decree 106/2009 and is preparatory to obtaining the title of Safety Coordinator in the Planning and Execution phase.
The course is aimed at those who intend to take on the role of Safety Coordinator in the planning and execution phase of work on temporary and mobile construction sites.
The safety coordinator must possess the following qualifications: engineering, architecture, geology, forestry or agricultural sciences, diploma as a surveyor, industrial expert, agricultural expert or agrotechnical expert ( for the complete list of professional requirements, please refer to 'art. 98 of Legislative Decree 81/2008 ).
